Productive Weekend Vlog: planning, writing, reading, and nature
The one thing that this pandemic has taught me is that a weekend at home can still be relaxing and productive. I love taking time to set up my planner for the next week, going for a walk, working on my story or even researching story structure. This weekend in particular, I had a lot of time to myself so I spent the day doing only things I loved and it was the perfect relaxing day that I needed.

Favorite Bullet Journal Supplies
Переглядів 1683 роки тому
Over the 5 years I've been bullet journaling, I've accumulated many supplies whether I bought them or received them as gifts from family. I noticed there were a few supplies I use daily, while other supplies sit in my drawer most of the time. In this video I want to share the supplies I use all the time that I would recommend. Disclaimer: you don't need to buy a million supplies to have a cute ...

[Vertical Layout] This year I wanted to try this planner from Little Inklings Design's shop! There are some blank dot grid and lined pages through out so I wanted to share the way I've customized thi...

Hi my name is Pouyan Arephpoor, writer of the book "You wanna cross the street" (www.amazon.com/Wanna-Cross-Street-Pouyan-Arephpoor/dp/1939123925). I want to ask you to give a review about this book, How can I contact you? here is a sample of it: “It is a normal day and you wanna cross the street” but do you know what might happen?? Here, there is my new book with 70 pages about that! So many amazing unique probabilities you never think of and you continue reading thinking of “OK what’s next??” In some parts you may laugh hard, in some paragraphs you may go in deep deep thoughts, sometimes you may throw the book out of the window and calling the writer crazy but you would pick it up later and continue reading. If you ever become curious about how such a crazy book was written, then make sure to read the “Introduction”, that’s a funny story and who knows maybe you be the next person who write next book in category of “Crazy theories book”! Here are few samples of what you will read in this book: - You wanna cross the street, your grandmother is there, carrying few bags. A very good grandchild you are, you run and get them fast to help her so she won’t carry those heavy bags even for one more second. She screams and call for help. A police officer put cuffs on your hands. You have never seen a policeman there in your entire life but now there was one just right there. Well some people look alike so much from behind. I prefer this one to go like this: she is not your grandmother but she say thanks so warm and nicely you won’t cross the street and take bags for her on same side of the street to her house. She invites you and those cookies she baked are wonderfully delicious with tea. - You wanna cross the street, but the moment you decide to walk, someone grab you from behind and pull you. You turn back, he grab your shirt. You see his angry face and he asks you with that bad smelling mouth “Did you just called me an idiot?!!” You don’t know what to do and just standing there terrified and thinking what you are going to say to him. An ambulance arrive and he is running away with that white coat, shouting "Noooooo I’m not crazyyyyy!” - You wanna cross the street and a car stops and driver come to you and call you by your name and tells you how much he missed you and wanted to see you again. He was in same school that you were not!! He had confused you with someone else… I know he called your name but it was lucky your names were same. You think that is impossible?! There is no chance you say? Not my fault! He was confused! Yup! It is crazy, 70 pages of crazy theories but it is also so amazing you can’t stop reading. Dedicated to all lovely people. Enjoy.

Very informative video, much appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Ah yes, I agree with using a planner vs bullet journal. My journaling began with scrap paper, to Post-it Notes, to legal pad, to a standard type planner, to Bullet Journaling, then returned to the planner. After a month or more with bullet journaling for me it became too much busy work; did not help my productivity. Filofax, FranklinPlaner DayRunner, DayTimer, and the like, are considerably more organized than a bullet journal, and when needed one can add, remove, move, pages. Standard planners are immediately ready to use - each month one does not need reinventing the wheel. Peter Drucker stated: “There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently that which should not be done at all”. Watching bullet journal videos and speaking with folks creating their bullet journal it became quite clear they are more enamored with the appearance of their bullet journal. Asked them if they find themselves being more productive, are they accomplishing more, etc., they give the deer in the headlights look. Please, understand I am not disparaging bullet journaling. When using a bullet journal makes one more productive and accomplishing more, go for it. However, after introspection one realizes they are more into cutesy than accomplishment, and productivity, then honestly reevaluate your activity.
